| II. Create a horizontal line
in Sketchpad.
Open Sketchpad
1.Select
>Graph
>Show Grid
and a Cartesian Coordinate graph appears.
2.Select the point tool and make two points on the x-axis of the graph.
It doesn't matter which numbers you choose as long as the points are ON
the x-axis.
Note: It might be easier to select the x-axis and y-axis and
>Display
>Hide axis
and then create the horizontal line from the two points you created.
3. Select the line tool.

4. Create a line by selecting each point that was created from step 2.
You have a horizontal line. Try to move the line.

5.Hide the grid.
>Graph
>Hide Grid
6. Hide the axes.
Select the Selection Arrow Tool.

Select the x-axis and the y-axis.
>Display
>Hide axis
It may be a little tricky selecting the x-axis since the horizontal
line is covering the axis. If Display says Hide line rather than axis,
try selecting it again. Now we have a horizontal line.
If you hide both the axis and line, just create another line as long as
those two points you created on the x-axis are still there.
