Starting the Bee Project
Before starting, have a look at some past work and some possibilities. This is a great card that was done in FLASH.
1) Open FLASH.
2) Open the Library. Window.>Window >Library.
3) You can modify the size of the document if you wish. >Modify >Document. I'm going to keep my document the standard size of 550 pixels x 500 pixels.
I'm not going to change my background color at this time. I will wait until I have created my vase and bees. Here is what you should have at this point.
4) Creating the layers.
Double click on layer1 and rename it background.
>Insert >Layer. Double click on the layer2 and name it vase.
>Insert >Layer. Double click on the layer3 and name it plant.
>Insert >Layer. Double click on the layer4 and name it bee.
(Note, you will need to create several bee layers for each bee you have on the scene.) We'll add those later as needed.
Here is what the state should look like.

Save your work.
Now create a bee.
