Tween the Car

1) Open the library. >Window >Library.

2) Bring the car to the scene.

a) First create a layer for the car. >Insert >Layer.
b) Name it car.
c) It is a good idea to lock the car scene layer so no mistakes are made. Click on the car icon in the library window.
d) Drag the car onto the scene.
e) Resize the car as needed using the Free Transform tool.
f) Move the car off the scene, ready to take off.

3) Tween the car.
a)Click on frame 50 of the car layer. That is the blue rectangle.

b)>Insert >Keyframe.
c) Move the car to the other side of the scene. Your car scene disappears but don't panic. We will put it back very soon.
d) Click between the frames.
e) >Insert >Create Motion Tween.


4) Put the scene back into all the frames.
a) Select the car scene layer. Unlock it if you locked it earlier.
b) Click on frame 50.
c) >Insert >Frame.
d) >Control >Test Movie.
Save your work.

Put car in scene

1) Open the library. >Window >Library.

2) Bring the car to the scene.

d) Drag the car onto the scene.
e) Resize the car as needed using the Free Transform tool.
f) Move the car off the scene, ready to take off.

1) Set up car off to the side of the stage at an angle.
2) Select frame 50 of the car layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe

Select frame 50 of all the layers below and
>Insert
>Timeline
>Frame

This copies the scene.
Select frame 50 of the car layer.
Move the car to the top of the mountain.
Select frame 25 of the car layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween.


2) Select frame 70 of the car layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe

Select frame 70 of all the layers below and
>Insert
>Timeline
>Frame

This copies the scene.
Select frame 70 of the car layer.
Rotate the car to the point down the mountain
Select frame 60 of the car layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween.

3) Select frame 120 of the car layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Keyframe

Select frame 120 of all the layers below and
>Insert
>Timeline
>Frame

This copies the scene.
Select frame 120 of the car layer.
Move the car down the mountain off the stage.
Select frame 100 of the car layer.
>Insert
>Timeline
>Create Motion Tween.

>Control
>Test Movie
