Firetext

1) Open Photoshop.
Go to the Internet Lesson as needed. Click here.

2) Select default colors

Then swap them so that you have black in the back color and white in the foreground.

 

>File
>New

Type the name - conclusion
Make it 600 x 200 pixels.
Select background color in the Background Contents menu.

Select the T tool and type conclusion in white text. Pick a font and fill the screen with the text. Use the move tool to center it in the document.

>Wind

Press OK if it asks to rasterize it.

Next, rotate the document.

Note: If you run into problems, try >Layer >Flatten Image

Scroll down to step 4 on the Internet site and follow the instructions.
Follow step 5 Instructions.

4) Apply Filter » Blur » Gaussian Blur with a value of 2,
then Filter » Distort » Ripple with the default values.

5.Convert the image to Grayscale by using
Image » Mode » Grayscale and then to
Image » Mode » Indexed Color.
The next step is to give our image some color, so choose
Image » Mode » Color Table.
Since we're shooting for a "fire effect" choose the Black Body table.


Next, select default colors so that black is in the front.
Select the T tool and type Conclusion. The document turns red. Don't worry.
Select the move tool and position the word over the firetext.
>Select
>Deselect

Save your document.
>File
>Save for the Web
into your Math Steps Folder (this is the document you insert into your dreamweaver page)

and (optional)

>File
>Save As

into your Math Steps Folder as conclusion.psd ( this is the document you can edit)
