Solar System Preparation
Find some pictures of planets on the Internet.
Open FLASH.
If the tools and properties windows aren't open, open them.
>Window
>Tools
>Window
>Properties
In the properties window, click on the background color and select your color.

If you just want a color background, go the the next step, creating your sun.
If you want to create some stars, do the following.
>Insert
>New Symbol

Name it star.
Click OK.

Now you are in the library.
You know you are in the library because there is crosshair in the center of the document.
Use the line tool or any other tool(s) you wish to create a star.

Select the fill bucket and a color and fill the star.

Go to the main stage.
Click on the scene1 icon at the top of the document.

Open the library.
>Window
>Library

Now you have the stage and the library in view.

Select the star Icon in the Library window.
Drag the star to the stage.

It is too big.
Select the free transform tool and make it smaller, much smaller.

Use the arrow tool to select the star.
>Edit
>Copy

>Edit
>Paste
Another star appears on the stage.
Use the arrow tool to move it around.
Repeat the copy and paste as you wish.
Save your document.
Call it SolarSystem.fla
Now create a sun.
