Distance=Rate X Time

Jose took a boat trip with his girlfriend to a unknown island. There was about 30 people on board. We got there at 10 o'clock. Everyone was suppose to meet up at 7 o'clock to leave. Jose and his girlfriend lost track of time and missed the boat. The people on board did not notice that they were gone. So what Jose had in mind was to build a boat and sail it back home. He made a sail out of clothes and sheets from the ship. The sails enabled him to pick up speed of 30 knots per hour. This trip took him about 4 hours. How far did he go?
