Conclusion Steps

Open conclusion.ai from your folder. If you don't have it, get it from the shared documents - Trig folder.

Select the flowers layer in the layers palette. >File >Place background.psd Be sure to unclick the link. Press OK. Drag it to the bottom of the layers palette. >File >Place mask.psd. Be sure to unclick the link. Press OK. Drag it to the bottom of the flowers layer. Hide it for now. Open the flowers layer by clicking the left triangle. This exposes all the sub layers.

Select the background sublayer. When you select a layer, click on the far right circle of the layer/sublayer. >Edit >Edit Colors >Adjust color balance C=54,M=20,Y=-59,B=0 Select the background layer. Duplicate that layer.

Use the magic wand tool to select the upper left black flower. This selects all black flowers. >Object >Compound Path >Make Shift - select far right circle of background layer. In the transparency palette, show options. Choose Make Opacity Mask. Click Invert.

Select the duplicate background layer. >Edit >Edit Colors >Adjust color balance C=-10,M=-17,Y=-91,B=0

Un hide mask.psd. Select mask.psd layer. >Edit >Edit Colors >Adjust color balance C=-79,M=-35,Y=-22,B=0 In the transparency palette, enter 85 for opacity.

Select the Text layer. type conclusion. Use your skills to create an interesting text. Save for web as conclusion.gif.
